Something For Everyone! RFNL Hosts Faculty of Education Doctoral Seminar Series

s12srm

On January 30, 2025, RFNL had the pleasure of hosting a session as part of Memorial University’s Faculty of Education Doctoral Seminar Series. For over a decade, RFNL has been engaged in transforming and decolonizing education in Newfoundland & Labrador. This session provided an opportunity for faculty, staff, students, and the wider community to reflect on RFNL’s role within the Faculty of Education and consider how holistic restorative justice and relational pedagogies can influence education on a broader scale. With insights from dr. dorothy vaandering, Chief Mi’sel Joe, and the RFNL team, participants were encouraged to think critically about the future of education and the impact of this work within the university and beyond.
